Peanut Butter Cookies

These simple and delicious cookies are sure to please!

Instructions:

Mix ingredients together. Place on a baking sheet. Use a fork to make a criss-cross pattern. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes.

Ingredients:

1 cup               Sugar

1 cup               Peanut Butter

1                       Egg

1 teaspoon     Vanilla


Potato Wedges

Great snack for the big game!

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Wash the potatoes, but leave the peels on. Next, cut the potatoes into wedges by cutting them in half, in half again, and in half again. Cut them as evenly sized as possible so that they will cook evenly.In a small bowl, mix together the cumin, black pepper, chili powder, Lawry's seasoning salt, and cayenne pepper.Place potatoes in a large bowl and add the oil. Toss to coat. Add the spice mix and continue to toss until evenly coated.Line baking sheet with parchment paper or nonstick spray and lay the potaoes on their side evenly spaced.The total baking time is 45 minutes, but take them out when they are halfway done and flip them over. When 45 minutes are up, test them with a fork. They should be tender. If not, continue baking 5 minutes at a time until tender.Serve with ketchup, ranch, nacho cheese, etc.

Ingredients:

3 Russet Potatoes

2 T Oil

1⁄4 t Cayenne Pepper

1⁄4 t Cumin

1⁄2 t Black Pepper

1 t Chili Powder

2 T Lawry's Seasoning Salt

 


Blackberry Bars

The most delicious blackberry treat we've ever eaten.

Ingredients

3 3⁄4 c Flour (Reserve)

3 1⁄2 c Sugar (Reserve)

1⁄4 t Salt

1 1⁄2 c Butter (cut into 1/2" cubes)

4  Eggs

1 c Sour Cream

1 pn Salt

1 T Lemon Juice

1 t Almond Extract

4 c Blackberries (fresh or frozen)

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350. Grease a 9x12 baking pan.Make the crust first. Combine 3 cups of flour, 1-1/2 cups of sugar, and 1/4 tsp. of salt. Cut 1-1/2 cups of butter into 1/2" cubes, and add to the flour mixture. This goes quickly in a food processor (or use a pastry cutter). Pulse until the butter is evenly distributed, but the mixture is still crumbly. Reserve 1-1/2 cups to use as the topping. Press the remaining mixture into the bottom of the pan. Bind bake for 15 minutes. Cool the crust for 10 minutes. While it is cooling, make the filling.Beat 4 eggs. Add 2 cups of sugar, 1 cup of sour cream, 3/4 cup of flour, a pinch of salt, 1 tbsp. lemon juice, and 1 tsp. almond extract. Mix together until smooth & creamy. Gently fold in 4 cups of blackberries. Pour the filling into the crust. Sprinkle the remaining crust mixture evenly over the filling. Bate 50-55 minutes. Let them cool at least an hour before cutting into bars, or you can scoop them immediately and serve cobbler style.

 


Stuffed Pepper Soup

This is a family favorite soup! It's quick & easy to make. It's delicious with either ground beef or ground turkey.

Instructions

Chop the peppers & onion. Brown the meat, drain off fat.  Add the peppers & onion, cook for another 2 minutes.Then add the pasta sauce, diced tomatoes, beef broth & rice. Heat to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes.

Ingredients

1 lb Ground Meat

2 c Red Bell Peppers (Chopped)

1 c Onion (Chopped)

26 oz Chunky Tomato Pasta Sauce

15 oz Diced Tomatoes

14 oz Beef Broth

8 4⁄5 oz Ready to Serve Long Grain & Wild Rice Pouch

Instructions

Pre-heat the oven to 375.1. Add shortening, butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs, & vanilla.  Mix together until it's smooth and creamy.  2. Add in the baking soda, salt, and flour. Mix together.  3.  Add chocolate chips and sprinkles. Mix in.  4. Bake at 375 for 7-9 minutes. Edges should just begin to turn brown.

Cinnamon Apple Bake

This Cinnamon Apple Bake is delicious!

INSTRUCTIONS

In a saucepan, melt butter, stir in brown sugar, apple pie filling, cinnamon & vanilla. Spread half of apple mixture in a 2-quart shallow baking dish.Separate biscuits; cut each into quarters. Arrange pieces, points up, over mixture. Spoon remaining mixture over biscuits; sprinkle with nuts. (optional)Bake at 350 for 35-40 min. Let stand 5 min. Serve warm.
